In addition to eliminating the awkward replacement of burned out florescent tubes, this kit also eliminates the ballast which eventually fails, is sometimes temperature-sensitive, heavy, and hard to find. A good move all the way around to replace these 2 possible problems. As shown in the video, reworking your fixture is simple.
