The order was received quickly. Everything about this purchase is positive. Great value and high quality items. Converted 3- 4' fluorescent fixtures in my triple garage. The fixtures were 20 years old however very nice and I didn't want to purchase new ones. The big home centers could not provide the items I needed. Actually although store personal were friendly they lacked the product knowledge as well as products I was looking for.

After a few emails to Total Lighting I received all the answers to the questions I had. Made my purchase and installed the new LED bulbs the same day I received them. I ordered 6-4' double ended 18W 5000 lumen bulbs, 3-5 port electrical connectors and 3 change labels for the three fixtures that were converted. All great items. Don't overlook these ports and labels. The 5 port connectors were a great help and made my install simple. Total Lighting has very informative videos and I would highly recommend them before you convert your fixtures even if you have lots of experience in this area.

Bottom line the garage lighting is so much better than the T8 system I had, its hard to believe. No more ballast, better economy and way cooler looking. I would recommend the clear bulbs because in my opinion they are cleaner and brighter and the LED look through the fixture lens is very cool.

Don't wait as long as I did to make the change. You won't regret it.

Changed 12 fixtures with 6 bulbs each over to led. All fixtures are 14' from the floor. Made a huge difference. No more dim or dark corners in my shop. The conversion itself was super simple. Took about 10 min to do each fixture (not counting a few hundred trips up and down the ladder). (Posted on 7/9/2019)

So easy to replace. Isolate the fitting, a few deft snips with wire cutters, a couple of wires to strip back and you're in business.
