In addition to eliminating the awkward replacement of burned out florescent tubes, this kit also eliminates the ballast which eventually fails, is sometimes temperature-sensitive, heavy, and hard to find. A good move all the way around to replace these 2 possible problems. As shown in the video, reworking your fixture is simple. This kit is all you need to convert from fluorescent to led lighting. The only tools I needed were a wire stripper and a flat head screw driver to access the tombstones. I ordered this kit after two electricians failed to return my phone calls to bid on the job. I'm glad they didn't. After searching YouTube, I found your website and saw the installation videos. I said, that seems pretty straight forward. It was so easy. I installed the lights and my wife commented on how bright they were. Our 20+ year old garage has 6 4' 4 lamp fixtures. A few years ago a couple of ballasts were failing and several of the fluorescent bulbs were either out or dimming and I regrettably replaced the ballasts and bulbs. Recently more bulbs were out and I endeavored to go with the single end led 4000K retrofit kit and couldn't be happier with the results! Half the fixtures are now converted as well as the two fixtures in the mechanical room. I'm having an internal debate about whether to wait for more ballasts and fluorescent bulbs to fail or just go ahead and convert them to led and hope to find a home for the energy hog ballast/fluorescent combo.Price Quality Value

My older shop flouresent light kept having problems with light replacements, possibly a ballast problem. I have wanted to update for a while to LEDs. I found this website and ordered the 4 tube conversion kit, with a few extra parts. I was able to update 2 4' fixtures. They work great.Price Quality Value
I ordered the 4000k LEDs,,, they are really bright. I am glad I didn't go for the 5k version. It would have been harsh, I think. In the future I plan to change some others, mainly in my kitchen. We will probably opt for the 2700k LEDs. They have only been working for about a week, but so far they are perfect. (Posted on 8/26/2018)
