When I went to convert my U-bend fluorescent bulbs to LED without a ballast, these tombstones were impossible to find. None of the electrical stores in town had them. The HD Supply / Anixter store told me that Leviton doesn't even make a straight-in unshunted tombstone!

This tombstone snapped in perfectly and holds tight to the sheet metal. It holds the U-bend bulb securely. The push-in terminals hold 18 gauge solid wire tightly. (Posted on 3/21/2019)

I spent many hours researching and learning the ins and outs of switching 4-bulb T12 florescent troffers to T8 LEDs. Saw that some sellers offered push-in tombs in addition to these twist-ins, but their dimensions were not right for my thin-depth lights. Found these, they worked great! Bought 100 so I can change all fixtures. First went well. 12 more to go! Just check the dimensions carefully, use push-in style if at all possible. Stop breaking aged, brittle tomstones! Buy in bulk at almost half price. Even in small qtys, these are the way to go. If you are not aware, these are required for Ubend lights.
They are OPTIONAL for straight lights, but I consider them highly desirable! (Posted on 5/17/2018)

Worked exactly as I needed to convert U-bend T8 tubes and bypass the ballast to LED. A little pricey but they forewarned the added expense of handling small orders. At least they are up front about it. Always appreciate honesty. I will be making future purchases here. (Posted on 1/19/2018)
