My old closet/pantry lights were 2ft T12 Fluorescents in vertically mounted tombstones. These tubes rotate and allowed me to aim the light down, rather than replacing the fixtures and do away with the ballasts. Quick ship and came very well packed. -Thanks! (Posted on 2/3/2021)

Excellent replacement for old 2ft T12 bulbs Review by TJA

I bought these to replace old 2 foot T12 fluorescent lamps used in a dropped ceiling. These LED lamps are excellent quality, and put out much more light than the fluorescent lamps. Installation was easy, I just eliminated the old magnetic ballast and connected line and neutral directly to one end of the LED lamp. Make sure that your existing tombstone connectors are not shunted, meaning that the 2 contacts in the tombstone are not connected together. I believe non-shunted tombstones are used with old T12 type magnetic ballasts. If you have a newer T8 type soid state ballast, you may have to replace the tombstones with non-shunted tombstones.
