If I had it to do over again, I would not buy these pre-wired tombstones. Upon receipt, I noticed that the line (black) and neutral (white) wires were reversed from the markings for the pins on the bulbs when they were installed in the tombstones. Also I noticed that on the item’s web page there were two photos of the pre-wired tombstones, and the wires were on opposite sides of the tombstones in the different photos. I did want the hot (black) wire going to the line pin on the bulb, and the neutral (white) wire going to the neutral pin, so I tried to remove the wires to switch them but found that they would not release like they do in other tombstones. Apparently once inserted, the wiring is permanent. To get the wire color to match the bulb markings, I had to cut the wire flush at the tombstones and use the second hole for the alternate color wire. It would have been easier to buy bare tombstones and bulk wire than use these pre-wired ones. (Posted on 1/7/2018)

These sockets were perfect to use in my retrofit of ceiling fixtures from fluorescent tubes to LED tubes. The wired sockets made the project easy; they are good quality made sockets with long wires which are colored black and white on each socket set. (Posted on 6/29/2017)

super easy to use and install. takes about 10 to 15 minutes tops to retrofit fluorescent lights to these LED lights. Took out old sockets on one end, cut wires, removed ballast, left old sockets on other end (only 1 end of new LED bulbs are hot), replaced wire cover, put in new bulbs, put plastic light cover back on and turned power and switch back on. I did about 18 or so lights. I watched the how to video 2 or 3 times. Thought to myself it couldn't be that easy. to my surprise it was easier then it looked on the video. Was very pleased with how they worked.

Now can someone tell me where I can recycle all these old Ballasts I took out. (Posted on 12/21/2016)
